ALBERTA, Canada – A woman had a terrifyingly close encounter with a grizzly bear while walking her dog at a wilderness camp in Alberta, Canada, on June 24.

According to Jelmer de Blois, a licensed hiking and wilderness guide with Wilderness Escape Adventures, the woman, Jessie, had just stepped outside with her morning coffee to take her dog, Skoki, for a walk down the camp’s gravel driveway when the grizzly suddenly appeared.
